Stitch Fest's first show took place in November 2016 in Totnes Civic Hall with a hugely successful festival that drew people from all over the UK. Its second, third and fourth years were even better with a fabulous new venue in the Grove School and more classes.

 

Stitch Fest 2021 saw the show moving to our current venue at Newton Abbot Racecourse where it is all under one roof and as ever, showcasing some of the best independent makers, dyers, spinners and designers in the UK yarn industry along with fabulous workshop and demonstration timetables.

Now in our 9th year, the show remains the south west's favourite yarn show welcoming over 1200 exhibitors each year.​

In 2022 & 2023 we ran the very successful Fibre Quest in conjunction with Fernhill Farm on the top of the Mendip Hills

 

2024 saw us launch our new show, The Great British Fibre Festival at Coldharbour Mill...a roaring success and we are delighted to be back there again in 2025 with a second show.

​​​A third show enters the Stitch Fest Craft Shows stable for 2025. The brand new Stitch Fest by the Sea - a summer version of our hugely successful November show. Based at the iconic Winter Gardens Pavillion on Weston Super-Mare's fabulous seafront, this show will offer a lovely range of exhibitors, many of them based in the south west. We very much hope you will join us at Weston...we can't wait to share the fabuous venue and lovely exhibitors with you!​​​​​​​
